Your old projector had a crappy trapezoidal correction function. All trapezoidal correction functions regardless of the projector or brand are to be avoided. They should NEVER be used. They degrade the image noticeably. Take your time. If you need help, call me. There is nothing wrong with your projector.

I also read someones post complaining how the picture quality was low because he was using HDMI 1. I figured out why input 1 wasn't working when I was hooking up the server. Projector has Input button on other side of it. At any given time, it can take input from either 1 or 2. It was set to 2 and therefore was receiving signal only from 2 and therefore when I plugged hdmi coming from my receiver worked with 2. Now trying to setup this server . Way too many connections. Worse part is that I'll have to snake another HDMI to projector location (unless I manually want to swhich HDMI from receiver to server). If I snake, I'll have to take projector down as well and I don't feel like doing that .
