4K is available from the server. So any 4K movie in scope format on the server can't be used with an A-lens. I was answering audioguy, since he was saying a lens is needed to get the best out of a 600. At some point, once a video processor and 4K A-lens, is available, then he may be correct.
Yes, I did understand you were answering audioguy , thanks for the clarification. What I did mean was that4K 3D content was not abundant nor is any other 2D 4K content for that matter. There is some 4K content available, I believe 70 titles or so , most of which is not really box office.
According to cine4 of Germany the A lens coupled with the 1000 was fantastic, a considerable increase in brightness and no degrading of picture quality as tested with the Panamorph UH480.
I didn't realize that all 4K scope cannot be stretched, I thought it was only 3D 4K content, again, thanks for that clarification. So, therefor we can still run the 1080P 3D material but will still need the lumagen to stretch the 3D. FOr the rest of the 4K stretching we will need to wait for that processor to
be offered. Like I said, no hurry, not a lot of 4K to choose from anyway, and by the time it does start to appear so too will the processors required to do the stretching magic .
