Thanks for the post, appreciate it. Let us know if you find any Super HD or 3D titles that work for you that previously didn't. I haven't had any luck finding any yet.

Probably SBS. Dunno because although I've found a lot of "Super HD" titles I've yet to find any 3D ones.

Anybody???

Just noticed them yesterday. On my LG TV's Netflix App, scrolling through genres, I noticed a "3D" list with 53 movies listed. A lot of throw-aways, but some decent IMAX videos and a couple theatrical movies (the Immortals is one I remember seeing).

Thanks for the post. Evidently the 3D list isn't available as a genre on my Roku or I'm too dumb to find it........rolleyes.gif

Could you list a couple of titles so I can see if the show as available in 3D? Appreciate it.

From what I can tell, only certain devices currently support 3D; my PS3s (fat 60GB and slim 120GB) both stream 3D movies at 720p; but my LG and Panasonic 3D BluRay players don't seem to be able to see the 3D titles. The 3D PQ appears to be much better than Vudu; it looks to me to be frame-packed 720p

As for titles, I found about 50, most of which I already own; hopefully we'll get more. I was surprised to see Beowulf available in 3D; strange since it isn't available for purchase yet. I also saw one of the Sammy's Adventure titles.

On my 2010 Samsung active plasma I experienced quite a bit of ghosting, far more than I typically get on that TV. Not sure if it was due to the transfer, the resolution or some other issue. Going to try to see if the same thing happens passive LG.

Thanks for the reply. Guess there's no 3d support for Netflix on Roku. Those only show as Super HD.frown.gif

Folks over a bluray.com say that Beowulf is available at Netflix in 3D and some have viewed it already. I have to check that out when I get home. I've been able to view 3D on Netflix since they announced it. It's about time for them to add some more titles as I've seen all I want to see there.

I can see the 3d movies on my Samsung blu-ray player and Samsung tv but they do not show up on my Panasonic 320 Blu-ray player. Maybe we will get a firmware update on the Panasonic to get the 3d on Netflix.

Which Samsung BluRay? I literally just ordered the BD-F5900 yesterday then noticed this, but if it doesn't work then I might refuse delivery or return it and buy a (?? ps3 or ps4??)

I get 3d on my Panasonic VT60 TV. I was not getting superHD but they just updated the app this morning and now get it too. I did lose the profiles with this latest update which is a bummer.

Nice. Came along just in time as Comcrap just got rid of ESPN 3D. Watched Grand Canyon: River at Risk and it looked really good.

Can somebody tell us the list of 3d content in netflix ?
I'll try tonight, but my issue was in creating the list, didn't see a 3D genre. I manually searched on 3D. (I couldn't get it to work, but I only tried for 4 minutes, and it was my first ever attempt with my pj. plan was to try again tonight)

New firmware update today for Sony S590. Hoped it would allow for Netflix 3D but doesn't.

Yeah, I noticed that (and an update to Netflix was the first thing I checked for.. hehe). I can't even find a reference for the update anywhere, I have no idea what they actually changed.

Has anyone tried with an Oppo player?
Its great they added this feature for everyone. On my BDP BX510, I now get a 3D category that shows all the movies. I think there were 53 titles available. Its too bad my 2 Mbs is so slow that it stops the movie every 5 minutes to load, oh well, I guess I need to upgrade as they suggest.

The only thing the firmware update seems to have done is slow the loading of discs, at least on my unit.

I watched "Sammy's Adventure: A Turtles Tale" in 3D on Netflix the other night and it had excellent 3D. Some of the best I've seen. It's a movie kinda on the lines of Finding Nemo, so it's certainly watchable. It even has a few scenes where it rips off Nemo. So I have watched 2 movies with Netflix 3D so far and they both pretty much looked excellent. I also watched a little of Beowulf in 3D as well, it was not as good as the other 2 titles as far as 3d goes.

2 more 3d titles on Netflix been there quite awhile
Beowulf
Scar

Given the relatively low number of 3D titles, it would be nice if there was some way to get a comprehensive list. I've noticed that Netflix's 3D suggestions are incomplete (they typically list around 40 titles even though there are more) and the only way to be sure if a title is available is to search for it, select it and see if a 3D option is available.
