Shadow Warrior

Anyone here play this new Shadow Warrior game yet? I'll probably buy it sometime soon.

Early reports indicate that it is a very fun throwback to the FPS madness of yesteryear, something I'm always game for. Especially interesting is that the swordplay is apparently very nicely done.

Appropriately Cheesy Launch Trailer:

I plan to give it a shot, reminds me of several games all rolled into one and looks fun.

That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. OK, I'm in.

As a fan of the original..... I'm not sure how much I want this one. Will get when cheap.

"Go Speed Racer, go!!!"

" Oh, sticky bomb rike you!"

"Who wanta some Wang"

"You want to wash Wang? Or you want to watch Wang wash Wang?"

The nostalgia...

I'm hearing good things about this one, and the screenshots of 4k downsampled to 1080p look quite gorgeous, but I'm not sure I want to drop $40 on it.

Looks like a solid buy once it's $5.

$20 seems like a most fair price for this game, but I will soon buy it anyway. I've been having a blast playing through the original and its expansions again through the excellently done Redux port sold on Steam.

I read that Devolver Digital may work towards acquiring the IP for the Blood series. That would be really nice to see reimagined.

It's a throwback to a bygone era. With steam sales and coupons it was a little over 30 bucks which I gladly paid to encourage such misbehavior.
