I am happy for you Black.
By the time Black receives his Triax, he will look like a homeless.
Cops will drag him out of the streets and put him in a homeless shelter away from his Triax. biggrin.gif

What are you getting?

This is crazy, i need to get more Triaxes by christmas just to celebrate!

Don't forget you need 1 for each channel in the HT room! You might even go for a LFE channel in the bathroom so you don't want to miss any of the bass while you are taking care of business! BTW that is in addition to 1 per channel. Dude you will be the only one to have a Triax for each channel and definitely the only one with a LFE in the bathroom!

Not sure but it says they call you then you set an appointment so looks good. If mine doesn't show by Friday I'll just have it scheduled for Monday, either way I'm happy!

Ooh... I thought they would give you a anticipated delivery day so you could be prepared.

I think once it's mid way or so you'll be able to know about when plus they'll call you ahead of time and let you pick day and time, so you will get a heads up. I hope the tent and people on watch won't scare away the truck driver!

Yeah, hopefully when it hits the halfway point to your place they will call and let you know. I know you want it on the first available day, just like me!

I was called once it reached the distribution center for my area. Until the appointment was set there was no delivery date listed on the carrier's website.

Once they called, I assume it was available for delivery in a day or two?

If you go here: http://www2.rlcarriers.com/freight/shipping/transit-times

You should be able to get an estimate, I'm not sure how precise it is though. I use 44440 as the origin zip code.

Looks like 4 days for me once it is shipped.

Let's see.....it was shipped on a Tuesday evening, and Wednesday morning the shipper called to schedule a Thursday delivery. Unfortunately, I couldn't get out of work Thursday, so we scheduled delivery for Friday.

R & L is a great freight carrier. They were right on time when they delivered my speakers and center. I still remember how excited I was seeing that 55' trailer back down my cul-de-sac biggrin.gif I think they are only obligated to unload at curb but after a 20.00 tip, he was more than willing to help carry / wheel everything in.......

Have fun guys!

This is going to be fun... We have a 100' drive way that is up hill and wide enough for a UPS truck. No way that a semi can back up it. eek.gif

I also tipped the driver and he offered to deliver my Triax into my living room. However, he just had a standard dolly to get it through the front door (the hydraulic lift he had wouldn't fit); Jim warned me not to move the box without the bottom being completely supported or it could collapse. I just thanked the driver for the offer and told him we could handle it from the garage.

Thanks for the tip on the $ tip as the Big Dog subwoofers, even when unboxed, are too heavy for a single person to safely move into place.

I got the payment for my trinity in my paypal account. The same company (R&L) thats bringing my Triax is the same company thats picking up my trinity and bringing it to the church lol. They charged the buyer $390.00 to ship 300lbs accross the country and includes bringing it into the church. The people were happy about it, they just got the first trinity in today so once mine gets there theyll be in business. Im all set now to get my first Triax, cant wait!
