Im sure your right, i just got the monoprice since people speak highly of it, plus my current LFE sub cables are 20 ft and the one i ordered is 10 ft which is plenty long for me. I guess i feel better using one solid cable verse 2 adapters even though itd probably wont make a difference. Ima grab a cheater plug today, hopefully home depots got them. With these 2 items on hand for tomorrow hopefully i wont have any issues other than getting the triax down to my room lol.

One tip, though I may be the only dummy that had this issue
, when you plug the power cable into the sub, you have to twist it to lock it in. If you don't, the amp won't power up. I hadn't seen that kind of plug before and just pushed it straight in (there's no mention in the manual about it). You can imagine how anxious I became when the amp wouldn't power up!
I was just about to pick up the phone and call Tom when my friend who was helping me figured out you have to twist it to lock in.
Oh, and another tip. I recently had an email exhange with Tom about the potential issues with the miniDSP and he mentioned this about setting the gain on the Triax amp:
..Brian recommends a gain setting on his 4000w and 6000w amplifiers no lower than -12. This way the input stage can never "clip" before the output stage...
