I can't wait to get mine!

As mentioned earlier, I got a response from Tom today and looks like they'll be shipping this week and next week depending upon where you are in the pre-order line.

Getting anxious but as I told Tom, they are probably more anxious than we are to get them shipped out smile.gif

When I talked to them yesterday.... I was told I would be waiting about 2 weeks. So you should be getting yours way before me.

Did he mention if the drivers arrived yet?

This is the response I got:

Anyway, we have two different shipments of drivers. One should be here very soon and allow us to begin Triax shipment this week. The other looks like next week and will finish off the last of the pre-orders and hopefully allow us to have a little stock on them..smile.gif You will be on the first incoming wave of drivers though,

I'm not sure if he meant both Triaxes will be on the first shipment or not....either way, not too concerned as I can wait smile.gif

What a truly badass sub. Way outta my league, but I will be watching this thread closely. You fellas should post pics of your subs as you get them set up.

The irony of the above, he says "she's way out of my league" and then asks for subwoofer porn. tongue.gif

"She's Out of My League"

Is that the current one that is going in the TRIAX or the original one?
That is the new one that they had developed.

This is the new driver that will be used for the Triax.

I've updated my post to make that more clear. Sorry about that.
If I remember correctly there was one or a few posts in the PSA thread showing the old drivers. I think shadyJ was around giving his usual opinion on them biggrin.gif

I tried searching for them a bit to compare to the above ones but no luck.

Edit: Ah, here is one from Tom showing the old Triax driver next to a Power-X driver: http://www.avsforum.com/t/1372020/official-power-sound-audio-thread/3360#post_23402095

Old Triax driver is on the left

Someone said the new Triax is 230lbs not 190lbs due to the new woofers.... Does anyone know if that is true?

Yes according to PSA (Tom And Jim) The new drivers are heavier around 41 pounds compared to the old drivers which where around 25 (likley a bit more).

I will definitely be needing help moving this beast!
The original drivers "look" a lot like the submersive driver from the front view. Anyone else get that impression?
I just ordered this to help get my Triax into place and move when needed. Anyone use this before?
