It looks as though, like in the immortal words of Jim Morrison, "The West is the Best."

With Kershaw starting tonight on only 3 days rest it looks as if the Dodgers want to win it in the west.

Braves-Dodgers Game 4 will probably is going start on TNT. That's going to set off the Castle fans. (You care about missing an episode from 2009 when you have a NEW EPISODE COMING IN <30 MINUTES!)

Another post season with that annoying TBS sound effect every time a graphic appears on the screen and changes.
They just played it 3 times in 20 seconds.
I'm amazed they did not get enough complaints last season and stopped using it.

This is what happens when you mix Gatorade and a TBS camera.

ha jpr!

feeling good about my dodgers!

eta: isn't dodger stadium the most beautiful stadium in all of baseball?

That was awesome!

I was mixed about the Braves and Dodgers in that I would have been pleased either way; although, I think I had a slight lean toward the Braves just because of the whole payroll thing. The Detroit series is a little surprising to me and while I expected Boston to dominate, Tampa Bay always finds a way to make thing fun. They're just that kind of team! But I'm in St. Louis so I can't leave the Cards out of the mix as they're bringing it home for a 5th and final nail biter. Of course I want the Cards to win but we do have a lot of respect for the Pirates here. Cards and Dodgers would be a lot of fun! And future thinking it, I'd personally love a World Series rematch with Boston. Then again, the Molina Brothers playing against each other would be fun to watch too!

Thank you! If I could order up a win for every game here on out I would smile.gif. I'll miss most of the game tonight (hazards of the night shift) but I'll be checking the score on my phone.

Pirates - Cards game moved to 8pm EST Wednesday night.

I'll actually get to watch it because it's not during working hours! Thanks MLB!

Sorry that order went unfulfilled, frown.gif but you had a good run this year and as we always say about our teams- "There is always next year!"

Rays bit the big one last night. mad.gif Was very entertaining however. Maddon has 9 different pitchers in one game. Amazing. Hard to imagine a 3 game sweep of the Sox after going down 0-2. Just wasn't meant to be.

I heard it was a really great game and it sucks I had to miss it frown.gif. But yes, we have next year and overall we had a pretty good season. We made it farther than some other teams wink.gif.

Today's matchup; the pivotal Game 5!
The announcers microphones sound bad tonight.[sounds more like a radio broadcast than a tv broadcast]
The audio wasn't great and the picture was even worse. At least on Directv for me, which I thought was odd considering it was the only game being broadcast.

Yeah, I'm biased but Go Cards! That was an awesome game! We (in St. Louis) tip our caps to the Pirates, they're a good team and are fun to watch. Telling that it came down to these two teams at the last possible game. This was the 24th meeting this season and the result was 12 wins 12 losses each.

AT&T uverse, San Diego

I would agree, the audio seems kinda muffled on my DD 5.1 stereo surround sound speaker system.

Try MSG Network. They're just as nonexistent as showing Yankees baseball on tv as the Yankees making the postseason this year.

tom: thanks for the quick reply. I guess my joke was about fans getting used to the Yanks in the playoffs every year. Hopefully, next year will be a good rebuilding year and we could look forward to the playoffs. Enjoy the games!!..

What a drag, the Dodgers/Cardinals series is the lucky winner of the crappy TBS presentation, their audio sounds like they're still using tin cans and string, Turner must still be mad the Dodgers beat the Braves.

Go Dodgers!!!

I'm not a Dodger fan but I do love listening to Vin Scully and he is doing the first & last 3 innings on radio. Fortunately I have MLB.tv premium which includes MLB Gameday Audio & use MLB At Bat to listen to Vin on my smartphone which is connected to an external speaker. I then pause the DVR for the radio feed to synchronize with TV & mute TBS, which then makes for baseball nirvana. It might not be stereo surround but still far better than the TBS announcers. I guess one could say the the smartphone is the 21st century version of the transistor radio.

Yeah, I've tried that before and had trouble getting the sync good enough. May try again with Saturday's game.
