Pro Audio System for a GYM

Hey guys!! I'm more of a Home/Car Audio kind of guy and have read plenty about acoustics. However, I truly believe that best practices come from the street and I just wanted to post this so if anyone has cut their teeth in large venue systems then just kind of give me a slap in the back of the head or kind of point me in the right direction smile.gif

200 x 170 ft warehouse turned into a Gymnastics floor/gym. They treated the warehouse metal sheeting with fiberglass insulation for temperature and holding it in place with a sort of white plastic blanket over and that kind of absorbs reflections pretty good. So it's good but bad since sound doesn't travel far inside.

They have a REALLY bad sound system consisting of boombox speakers and dangling wires all over the place eek.gif Me and my big mouth went: I can make this better for ya, testing the waters, owner went: WHEN? Oooh shoot...

I want to do a 2 channel system and add subs, question would be about speaker placement if you have this rectangular warehouse and sound needs to be heard everywhere about the same, where do you optimally place speakers and subs?

Ceiling is about 23 feet.

Any help is MUCH Appreciated, thanks guys!!

Budget is not an issue, having the optimal system and speaker placement for the needs is what concerns me the most, not to blast too much, not too wimpy, cant overdo it too much it just wouldn't make sense for me or the owner smile.gif
