Being relatively new at this can somebody tell me what Audio CD's output (ie: 2.0, 2.1, 5.1)? I ask this because the music that I will listen to will be mainly my old CD collection or IPOD. Help!
I am still open to other speaker choices.
Thanks to everybody for your advice & input. I really do appreciate this.
CD's and iPod output in stereo which is two channel music.
Your Pioneer will have a sound mode where you can take a 2 channel source and push it thru 3, 4, 5 or 7 speakers. Probably called All Channel stereo, Multi Channel Stereo, 5/7 channel stereo or something like that. Its great for parties or when you want background music.
You've been given plenty of speaker choices. You need to go out a listen to some speakers to find out what sound qualities you like.
