Need a UPS for Home Theater

Thread Starter

I'm looking for a UPS for my Home Theater. Hopefully this is in the right forum.

I currently have a APC Back-UPS ES BE550G(330 watts) which I'm guessing I'm loading pretty hard.

Devices on battery backup:

Computer......AMD Phenom II X4 940 3.0 Ghz, 4GB RAM, 4 HDD, Blu Ray burner, low end ATI 4000 series video card

Xbox 360

Asus RT-AC66U 802.11ac Router

Cable Modem

HDHomeRun Prime Network TV Tuner

QNAP TS-210 NAS (Two 2TB HDD)

Devices on Surge Protection only side of UPS:

Yamaha RX-A710 receiver(with 5.1 system)

Panasonic 50" Plasma 2011 model

Nintendo Wii

Any recommendations on a UPS?  Power outages are not common here but I am not certain how clean the power is. My house was built in 1970 so the quality of the electrical infrastructure is probably not that sound either.

I've also heard that power conditioning is a concern with Home Theater equipment. Any thoughts on that?

Thanks.

A larger BACKUPs unit will work great. I use a 1000VA APC Backups for the STB, HDMI Switch, Receiver, and projector with no issues. I use and older smaller APC to support the FIOS ONT in the basement and another 10000 for the office which includes the Fios Router
