After hearing my Rythmik 15" my buddy has been itching for me to build him a sub. I think i've convinced him that the Annihilator is the one.
He has a couple more inches of room so I got a 49.5 x 23 x 34.25 for outside dimensions and an internal box volume of 16.5 ft^3 (including bracing/drivers/ports).
This should lower the tuning frequency some but at the same time my port will stop 2" further away from the wall than the dimensions discussed earlier which was supposed to help lower the tuning frequency so I'm hoping its a wash.
Here is what i'm thinking:
2 SI 18 (4 ohm) (wire each subs DVC in parallel to make a 2 ohm load and each sub goes to a separate channel on the EP2500
1 EP2500 (2 channels of 1kW each @ 2 ohms)
Mic2200 for a HPF
Would it be recommended to line the walls and bracing with a no rez material or is the plan to just stuff the volume?
What would be a good HPF for this design?
