A person might want to check out your Bulb based PJ, if they are interested in getting a bulb PJ. The PJ's in the thread are LED PJ's , not bulb PJ's.

great suggestions. Had I not put 2 or 3 HUNDRED hours with my dad into building one of the coolest features in my house I'd be all over these ideas (It uses a a linear motor and has a cool way it locks into place, then cleans up perfectly when you raise it up, etc...).

That said, I AM going to look at where it would have to mount and see if one of these ideas will work.

You might do better with a bulb PJ, so you could use that cool ceiling device. Something like the benq w1070, or something like that. I think these LED PJ's as more specialized , for portable, dark rooms, maybe in small to medium size rooms. The good feature with led PJ's is 30,000 hours on led and anytime quick on and off, and with the pa75u native 3d, wifi,tv tuner, which bulb PJ's don't have yet.

Yeah, I was responding more when he said that the pg80 at 2.2kg wasn't portable anymore. The acer is still pretty portable, won't fit in your pocket but it's portable. (So I would think the pg80 would still be too)
