Sounds like a good idea to me.....I would like to see as well.
On a separate note, I may have to port the speaker out through th 24" side so the woofers do not fire dircectly at the screen. I received a pm:
"It's the subwoofer that you have to worry about. You do not want the driver, or any port blowing on the screen material.
You also might need to get your speakers 6" off the backside of the AT fabric so your speakers don't timbre shift. An exert from the 2010 HT Cruise AT screen seminar given by
Tony Grimani. This seminar was an offshoot of a large 2 issue Widescreen Review article.
Tony demonstrated timbre shifting using a single speaker (and channel) by using full range pink noise and a fabric sample. The very audible effect was gone at 6"."
So I'm thinking 3722's at least 6" from screen and side firing woofers. Port would be okay since it's top ported. I was thinking about placing the bass cannons on far right and left of screen but not sure what affect this would have....they can face the viewers or face each other but either way the need to be mounted on the 24" side.
Another option is placing them in the rear of the room facing screen,,,,thoughts??
