AT screen and subwoofers

Hi folks,

I'm about to start a project with some serious speakers behind my screen but I have no experience with AT screens and the movement of them due to speaker output.

Mine will be fixed to a false wall and I am going to be in the 12' wide ballpark 2.35 AR. I will have JBL 3722N drivers behind the screen and 18" subs....My concern is screen movement/proximity of speakers to screen material.

Can anyone offer advice please? Thank you!!

(In movie theaters subs are behind the screen and I see no movement but I am also more than 60' away usually)

Is anybody out there using an AT screen with big speakers behind it? smile.gif

I usually see people putting the sub below the screen. I saw a few demos with 15 inch drivers behind the screen at Cedia. Most had some vibration to the picture at higher volumes. I think it also depends on how far away the speakers are from the screen and if they are ported or sealed. It could be an issue so I would continue to seek advice.
