Especially the Asus monitors can't be calibrated right. Either you use the factory presets or forget it. Just try it yourself or read one of the many test.
And by the way Dell includes a calibration Software called "Color Calibration Solution".
Being that I write the calibration software for SpectraCal, I think it's safe to say that I have tried it and believe the results are far better than you state. Granted everyone has different bars for what they consider good enough. But the entire calibration industry is based around "increasing" accuracy.
Putting the bar at, the display must have an internal LUT to be worth calibrating, is an awfully high bar. If that's what you believe, we'll just have to agree to disagree.Edited by sotti - 10/14/13 at 1:34pm
