Hey Mike, you're right, the LSi25 is a discontinued model but still a great speaker. Some would argue that the LSi15 would be better due to the power to drive them vs the sub you get with each one.
These are 4ohm speakers which means you'd need to have some power to drive them. I have RTiA9's 8ohm speakers, almost went with the ones you're considering.
Also, as you mention, 60% music, another thought is to go with the LSi9 and a sub.
If you shop the Polk Audio ebay link, you'll find decent deals often on these speakers.
You'll find a couple of pairs of LSi25's on there now.
