As the title says, has this been done or is in the doing? I'm sitting on all the parts but none of the knowledge needed...

have you considered doing a semi-active setup?

horn compensation and high pass on top run off the avr.

active control dsp/big amp on bottom.

this way there is no choke on the woofer and you can get a big amp for not much money.

crazy, but built in dsp costs about the same as crossover components...and you can build in "baffle step correction" without losing any sensitivity.

it will all still be balanced because spectral content is such that the woofer will be sucking up 10x the power as the compression driver.

active for the win.

btw, looked around again and am not familiar with the combo that you have, though i'm sure that it will get worked up at some point.

Actually I was thinking about going with two of the PWR-ICE125 from MiniDSP, https://www.minidsp.com/products/plate-amplifiers/pwr-ice125 or maybe even better the AS2.100 from Hypex, http://www.hypex.nl/product/2012-11-23-13-44-01/2012-11-23-13-46-04/as2-100.html which has a filtered sub out as well. Seeing the TD15M has such a high sensitivity I wont be needing my two heavy Bryston 14BSST I have today. Less boxes, happier wife!

I'm guessing there will be builds with this combo considering the recent group buys from AE and BMS, and the ongoing SEOS15.
