Paradigm Ultracube 10 and SE Subwoofers

Thread Starter

Hi,

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare these two subs or have any experience using any one of them?

I appreciate (based on the other threads) that there are better subs for the money from online companies e.g. SVS & HSU but I currently live in Dubai and so don't have access to these options. Also these two paradigm subs are currently on-special for more or less the same price. The only other decent sub I have found for sale here is the Klipsch SW-112 though this seems too large for my needs (i.e. the wife said no).

I can see online that the Ultracube has a lot more power but being a complete newbie to HT there is not much else I can derive from the specs.

Note that I will be pairing the sub with MilleniaOne speakers and a Denon X2000 receiver. I live in a relatively small apartment with ~900scf of space for the combined TV/dining. My usage is probably 40% movies, 40% games and 20% music.

Any help on the above would be much appreciated. Thanks!
