The difference is in the filter. The S64 has a better filter (Louvre I believe) that essentially helps cut down on vertical glare. It was a limited run to be sold at Costco and Sams Club. The reason for the filter was because at the warehouse stores the vertical lighting is terrible. If you can find an S64 and are a Costco/Sams Club member, the general consensus (I was reading threads over in the Plasma forum for a while as I'm also looking to buy at some point this year) was to get it over the S60. The ST60 v. S64 debate was much closer. The panel on the ST60 is better than the 64, plus it adds 3D and some smart apps. The ST60 has a high input lag (only really a problem if you game).
Personally, I went and looked at both the S60 and ST60 and really didn't notice much of a difference between the two in terms of glare. Also, several people said the glare wasn't too bad if you have blinds to cover the windows.
I for one am leaning most heavily towards the ST60. Talked to the wife and her opinion was "If the ST60 has a better panel, does better with light and only ~$300 more (at 50 inches), then I'm sold."
