Cary and Rotel come to mind.  NuForce for much less and Classe or IAP for more.

Happy with mine Dan ; some dont like the osd gui [its not an overlay but its easy and set and forget if you prefer that ] . Mines been solid as a rock after traveling across the pacific . Glad I didn't have a umc1 as the bass management and emoq on that cirrus logic chip - you know eek.gif

The 7030 was designed for the CI market where installers require solid performance and is quite stable I find [ as was the umc200 I ran before it [ not so much the cary11a before them though - at least in the 1st firmware iterations wink.gif ; otherwise one thing that is a negative is the lock on time for hdmi;spdif . The 1st second of music may mute but there is a firmware being worked on that addresses this thankfully .

Another way of looking at it is it's going to be continued as a emotiva model but that won't be this price and if it weren't up to it it's a perfect chance to cut losses and drop it .. There's the xmc1 and rmc1 to fill out the line smile.gif

No problem ; my plan was to wait for the xmc1 too and if I had the 40% off card I would have waited ; now out of the blue emo gives me one after the fact for buying the 7030 ; the rmc1 may be looking better now rolleyes.gif
