Out of curiosity, how can one be expected to give a rational reply when one is given specifications that are not rational?
Hypothetically, one buys a single sub and sets it up in listening space. Due to room acoustics and how subwoofer sound waves interact in a room, expectedly they will have terrible results. And then the individual will want to know, why in their large room is their single subwoofer giving such such terrible results? The simple reply, because they haven't taken the time to deal with their room's acoustics and because of this the subwoofer's output is being messed up.
In response to your question, there is no reasonable response because within your budget, due to your specifications, you've set yourself up for fail. Why would anybody do that?
If you just want a subwoofer, pretty much anything vented in your price range (SVS, Rythmik or PSA), will give quality sound reproduction but before shooting yourself in the foot, may I suggest you reconsider your specifications?
