I am watching the "You Are Here" episode (aired last night) and I am thinking the "smart bullet" is straight out of the movie, "Runaway" (1984) (IMDB: title; Netflix: DVD). While Runaway was about a police officer who was a robotics expert who handled "runaway" (malfunctioning) robots that pose a risk to people and property, one of the people who seemed to be making unauthorized modifications to make robots destructive also had bullets that, just like in the "You Are Here" episode of "Almost Human", will turn corners and even go behind walls to find the person they were targeted to go after.
I am also surprised how easy it's going for John Kennex after willful destruction of expensive police property. Is this the second MX series robot he destroyed, and then only because the robots irritated him?
Also, why was that MX so dismissive of the information that Dorian found? It's like Dorian was taking a page from CSI's investigation procedures but the MX was more interested in just closing the case without analyzing what really happened. I think Columbo was more observant than that MX!
(Maybe I'll take back some of my words once I finish watching the episode. Or maybe as I walk away, I'll stop, turn around and say, "Oh, there's just one more thing...")
