I'm getting Killzone, Knack and NBA 2K14, and they all come out on Friday. So it's all gravy! I'll be there early in the morning to pick up my PS4 and those 3 games. I'll also be using my Target card to get another 5 percent off, and the $25 gift card that I get for the PS4, I'm going to immediately use that on Killzone, Knack and NBA 2K14.

Same here.

I'm going to pre order them on 11-10 to make sure I get a copy of each game.

Target only requires I think $1 for pre ordering games.

Well, wish I knew about this Monday when I pre-ordered BF4 Digital. I could have picked up KZ/BF4/Knack, porbably beat Knack quickly and traded it in for better value than the PSN $10 back.

Ahh well.

so is COD not part of this promo? it says "more in store" what does that mean?
Their B2G1F has typically been on anything in stock, all systems all games.

Someone on the PS4 reddit emailed amazon customer service and it looks like Amazon will now also be doing the Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal for PS4 launch title games:

Dammit, I just cancelled my Amazon pre-order of BF4 and preordered it on PSN. Yeah well, still get to use it on two consoles now. I wonder if this is retail fighting back against digital download?

Any idea if Wal-Mart will honor this deal?

It seems like 2 for 1 deals like this usually come up this time of year from the major retailers. I suspect will soon be hearing of a similar deal from Toys R Us.

Amazon is rumored to be doing this on the 11/10 thru 11/16 as well.

So, does anyone know how this typically works with Amazon preorders?

If I preorder KZSF, Knack, & AC:BF now, will one of them end up changing to free during this deal, before my order ships?

I'd be interested to know how this works too. I was buying NBA2K14 and BF4 but was borderline on Knack. Would love Knack as a B2G1!

Today's the first day of the sale boys 'n girls! Whip out those wallets and beat the crowds so they don't sell out of the stuff you want too early.
Some of my 3 aren't released until Tuesday or Friday. I fear by then the ones that were in stock on Sunday would be gone. I doubt Target honors this for a pre-order. How to make this work...
Has Amazon matched this? Will they do it with a pre-order?

I looked at the Target site & ad. Don't see it for PS4 games.... Granted, I didn't spend much time.
Has anybody been to Target today ? I'm curious if they have any PS4 games or XB1 games out yet. Probably not, but you never know.

Just went by my local target to check it out. Nothing on the shelves. Sales associate told that (for their store) they could only sell Killzone & COD, but would be putting out more games (not sure if that means all launch titles) on Tuesday. I'm planning to go back Tuesday and see what changes.

Sale is live; both the Weekly online ad and In-Store acknowledge the sale. Did a quick test and it doesn't appear the sale applies to online purchases.

Checked Amazon as well and they aren't offering the 2 + 1 offer (yet?). Anyone know if you'd have to contact customer support??

Looks like Amazon is still looking into it.

Me:Good Afternoon, Target is running a Buy 2 Get 1 game free deal on all of their video games in store. Can you please tell me if Amazon will be matching this deal or offering anything similar?
Redacted:Hi, thank you for contacting Amazon, my name is XXXXX.
Me:Hi XXXXX, this is the deal in question: http://i.imgur.com/8wT71oS.jpeg
Redacted:We are aware of the deal, our promotional team are now looking into this, once they come to a decision we will inform our customer.
May I have the name on your account?
Me:Sure, my names is XXXXX
Redacted:Thank you.
We will contact you once this promotion is launch okay.

Heading to target now. Apparently some places are being stingy on what they're selling, but a memo says differently:

Also, Target has a new pre-order system where you buy a $1 card that reserves a game for you and you get a $5 target card when when you pick up the game, essentially giving you $4.

But the real deal is the receipts are printing off Buy 2 games, get 30% off 25-50% of the time. People are reporting that this coupon stacks with the B2G1F deal.

Can you clarify on that last part? As in buy 2 get 30% AND another 25-50%?

Going to go check other targets near me to see what (if any) stock is available today.

Basically you randomly get a 30% off any two games coupon from buying these pre-order cards for $1. It's a random receipt coupon though and it only generated now and then (someone said 25%-50% of the time which a pruchase of a card) . That then stacks on the B2G1F so instead of $120 it's like ~90.

I just got back from target and they said they don't have anything yet (nothing out back), nothing was out, and I bought 10 cards and not one coupon came up. Bad luck Sunday apparently...

I just received an email Amazon informing me that my preorder of COD entitles me to a BOGO offer (via code) on PS4 titles. This will essentially give me B2G1 from Amazon and will save me a trip to Target.
I went to target asking if I could purchase any of the 3 as they said they'll have all ps4 games and I could not purchase any 3 yet until they are available. Basically, I could not take advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free since the game are not yet released. So I could not buy the games coming out of the 12 and buy the one coming out of the 15th to make it buy 2 get 1 free. I esentially would have to wait all week then do it then hope that they have enough to take advantage of the deal. By them, my amazon preorders would of already shipped. I think you should be able to buy any 3 now before their released to take advantage of the deal. But not allowing me do this his really makes the deal look bad.
Yeah, targets a bit of a mess since the street dates for 2K14, Knack, Killzone, and AC4 were rescinded. They have that memo above, but not all know of it, and some are just ignoring it completely.

The only thing that makes it better would be stacking that 30% coupon, but as I said I had no luck getting one on my receipt.

I love and hate you at the same time. Sigh, if I wasn't so tired I would try to see if my local BB will match.

Tried 2 more Targets, got two different answers. Essentially looks like Tuesday-Friday are the days to see all titles available for purchase. I'm getting the sense that this wasn't the most well planned thing. Granted the promotion was targeted (lol) at all video games with an emphasis on the PS4 titles to try to drive up sales.

EDIT: Amazon offer is posted, is only 11/12 from 9am-1pm PST (http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1001500321&pf_rd_p=1654760462&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-2&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=468642&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=10CZS57STNYSZHMF61B9&ref_=acs_ux_hsb_5s_1_VG-HP)

ugh damn these vendors mad.gif

Thanks for posting!

And for clarity, the Amazon deal is Tuesday only, and for those of us on the east coast it's only between noon and 4pm.

For Target, here's a real quick way to check inventory at your local stores. BUT, be sure to call them first, as we've found above some stores are confused about street dates for these titles that should be available now.

Here's that 30% coupon. Not even sure if my target has those printers, as all I was getting was receipts. But thats what it looks like...
