Plasma non-uniformity...what's typical (pro calibrators & dealers please chime in)?

Okay, here's my dilemma with my 65VT60. Both the first one I ordered and the replacement i got from Amazon have very slight bluish "zones" (for lack of a better word) on the left and right edges of the screen, primarily toward the upper corners. On the second set, I measured the color temperature of the areas with my X-Rite colorimeter and the left and right sides are running about 500K and 400K higher, respectively, than the center of the screen. The first set was more than 400K off when comparing the top left corner to the center, but that's the only area I measured.

Now, would I have noticed this without looking at and measuring full white field test patterns? No way. And even then, it's pretty danged hard to see. I am really tempted to try for another exchange, but I'm hesitant because the TV is otherwise outstanding (no dead pixels or cosmetic damage) and I find it unusual that I got two in a row that had a similar bluish tint...my hunch tells me that the third won't be any better.

So, what do you think? My wife says nothing is perfect and I'm being overly picky (and I tend to agree), but my ST50 (with 2000 hours) measures better in terms of uniformity than my VT60. I also have an S2 which measures worse, but it has 8000 hours on it. If this is par for the course for this series of panels, I'll definitely live with it since it's really not noticeable in regular viewing...and if I think sometimes I see it, it's probably just my imagination. I also have a suspicion that it could be the glare filter playing tricks on my eyes and the colorimeter, but I have no way to prove that. Another option is to wait a few hundred hours to see if it gets better (which I guess is possible), but I only have 30 days to do an exchange with Amazon, so I'd prefer to get it swapped if waiting won't make a difference.

Anyway, what do you guys think? I'd be especially interested to hear from some pro calibrators and dealers who've seen numerous copies of this set and who'd know what level of non-uniformity is typical and/or acceptable.

I guess what I'm saying is that if what I'm seeing is within the acceptable range, then I'm fine with it.

tl;dr version:
The top corners of my VT60 are slightly blue compared to the rest of the picture. Although this is measurable, it's barely visible on full field test patterns, and not noticeable on regular viewing material. I returned my first VT60 for this issue and the second one also had it. Is this typical non-uniformity for these displays?
