Energy Saver button on My Sony NX720

With the movement detection thing turned off, whatever that is called, my tv would go off every 30 seconds, then back on, sometimes back on by itself, sometimes not

I flipped the energy saver switch on the side of the tv, will this not happen anymore?

How is it saving energy while on, is the button in the on position supposed to turn the tv off but if so when, what would prompt it to go off?

i dont want it to go off...

The energy saver switch is only when in standby. As for the movement detection it should only turn off if you have it turned on. Sounds like you have it turned on not off.
