I'd say you are pretty balanced with only a mild bias towards PSA smile.gif

I also agree with that. Through out all my research I found your recommendations to be pretty equally distributed among the major id companies. It always seemed to me that you recommended based on the needs mentioned by the OP. There might be a small bias towards PSA but that's to be expected, after all, you own them right now. :)

Well, thank you again for all of the recommendations. It looks like I was in the right ballpark for what I wanted, but a little more research via you guys and around the web helped out greatly. I ended up plunging on the PSA XV-15 thanks to the strong recommendations and fantastic reviews it has gotten. The HSU sub was a strong second, but I think in the end the warranty got me. Now I hope my wife doesn't kill me! LOL! I'll probably have to arrange to be home when it's delivered because I'm 100% confident she won't be able to move it. biggrin.gif

^ Great choice. I was just listening to music last night and found myself thinking about how much the XV15 has helped my music to sound soooo much better. And when I watch movies? Well… how does one describe the depth of feeling associated with absolute joy? :D

When you get it all set up and have done some listening, let us know what you think.

Statements like this are exactly what helped me decide! smile.gif I will absolutely update the thread when my new toy arrives. Hopefully PSA doesn't make me wait too long!

Hi, i am also considering XV15 however i am not sure if it fits together with Definitive technology ProCenter 2000 and DefTech ProMonitors 1000 (front) and 800 (surround). I will also upgrade AV receiver, so far really no idea to which brand and model. Step by step. At the moment i have an old Yamaha which i plan to replace finally.

Thanks for advices what is important when combining all this stuff because I have almost no clue about these audio things...

PSA XV-15 and Hsu Research VTF-3 MK4 are in fact in the same price range when you factor in the shipping charges.
