I need a subwoofer for my MA radius setup...

Thread Starter
I have the Radius R270, 250 and r90 rears , and I am looking at for a sub for these...I was leaning towards the matching MA radius sub, but Im thinking there are better options out there. I am looking for a smaller sub, to hide in a family room, so smaller the better, my budget s around 500.00

Thanks
Mike

I'm pretty sure I saw your similar post on the speakers forum. I recommended the SVS PB 1000 for a about $500. SVS is great with a 5 year warranty and 45 day in home trial with free shipping. Rythmik would be my second choice with the LV12R at about $600. But they don't have the as good a warranty.

However, that is all assuming you have a moderate size room. If your room has any real size to it then you may have to consider upping your budget and looking at more powerful options.  If you can, please let us know the size of you room.

I also vote for SVS. If the PB-1000 is too large, the SB-1000 may fit the bill.

+1 to the SVS SB-1000 or PB-1000.

Radius 380
- 8" driver + 8" passive radiator
- 200W RMS(?)
- 30-120Hz +?/-6dB

Radius 390
- 10" driver + 10" passive radiator
- 220W RMS(?)
- 30-120Hz +?/-6dB

SVS SB-1000
- 12" driver
- 300W RMS
- 24-260Hz +/-3dB

SVS PB-1000
- 10" driver
- 300W RMS
- 19-270Hz +/-3dB
