Just got an email letting me know I get a free game. And that's why I order from Amazon instead of going to the store. Amazon is awesome. So now it's Battlefield 4, AC4, and Killzone.

I'm glad they count existing pre-orders toward the deal.

Looks like I'm getting a free game! I selected NBA 2k14 to go along with AC4 and KZ.

Edit: Amazon said NBA 2k14 was out of stock so I'm getting COD Ghosts instead.

2K14 is still a pre-order on Amazon:

Pre-order now.

So should be good if you wanted to go back to that.

This is the only downside to going all digital. But I'm not wavering. No discs to waste space for me. And I will never get to 3 games right away anyways. I'm not starting the current gen with a damn backlog already. redface.gif

Decided to let my kids pick two games since I have the BF4 bundle coming and COD Ghosts on digital. So I'll be getting Knack and Need For Speed Rivals for $60. I imagine that's about what they are worth. They're happy so I guess that's what counts. I really wanted to get Kill Zone SF but three shooters would be a bit much.

Need for Speed isn't on the list.

Was when I ordered. There were 14 games on the list. According to my order confirmation, Knack will be here Wednesday. NFS will ship separately (since its release date isn't until the 15th).
Need for Speed seems to be on the list.

I'm still going to try to wait for Target, because with the Target red card, I get another 5 percent off. I live in California, so I still have to pay tax via Amazon, but for those that don't have to pay tax this is a great deal.

NFS added to the OP after reports of it being included but not on the page linked.

Vulture Tuesday they should call it. Ha. Any ways. Can you have the items in cart minutes before the sale hits? Or just add from wish list? I know 1 click ordering is not allowed clearly written out in the promo. I tried to pre-order a game for the code today. Try to get it early. Waited 6 hrs for the email and no code. I canceled because if they charge the card tomorrow. And I still don't have a code. Would not be a happy camper and not willing to take the chance. I asked amazon chat about the code. Said they would forward it to the promo team. Response in 1-2 days. Nope. Don't have that kinda time. First time I ever used customer service at amazon and was not impressed at all. All they had to do was give me a code by seeing the pre-order and I would have been happy. But, nope.

Which one would you buy? Looking to get one or the other.....Battlefield 4 or Call Of Duty Ghosts? I already have Killzone 4 and Need For Speed. cool.gif

Guess it depends on how much time you have to play. COD is good for jumping online for a quick, mindless game. BF4 is better if you can join some friends for an extended session. BF is definitely better looking and sounding, but it's also slower paced and there's a learning curve.

Domination in Battlefield is just as fast paced as CoD. All gun on gun with little time to relax.

Can't wait to get my BF4 bundle on Friday. I haven't had my Battlefield fix in well over a year (except for the Beta)

They did not count them in my situation.

I had Madden, Assassins, N4S already pre-ordered in two separate orders. Assasins and Madden both shipped today, I contacted Amazon about it and I received the following email...

--Hello,
--
--I've confirmed that your order didn't meet all of the qualifications for receiving the promotion.
--
--I've checked on the website and can confirm that the GR8TNESS promotion Starts on Tuesday November 12 at 9:00am PST through 1:00pm PST or while supplies last and customer needs to place --anytime between Tuesday November 12 at 9:00am PST through 1:00pm PST in order to qualify for the promotion.
--
--I've checked you order and see that you placed it before the promo dates.
--
--Restrictions for promotional offers vary, but the details for specific promotions are available on our website.

--Your patience and understanding are greatly much appreciated.

--I hope you'll be able to take advantage of future promotions. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

--Best regards,
--Mark P.
--Thank you.

That's a damn shame. Not fair to those that ordered in advance.

They need a stern taking to. Don't let them off the hook, elevate the situation.

As long as you had N4S and AC4 pre-ordered before 11/9, you should qualify from what I've hearing. I'd call them, or try another chat (calling usually works better) and just kindly explain the situation.

Ok, here is the scoop I got from an Amazon rep on the phone a few minutes ago.

They have a bulletin referencing this type of situation as them not honoring this goes against their pre-order price guarantee imo.

If you ordered any of the qualifying games by the 9th (I believe was the date she said) then you should be receiving a personalized email with a code worth the value of the promotion.

So I should be able to apply that code to another game on the list or on my N4S order that has not shipped out yet.

The rep said she would call me back tomorrow just to make sure I get my email.

Easy as pie and I hope this helps anyone else in a similar situation.

I concur. I would let them know that they are doing it for other people so why not you. Don't let them walk over you like that...they will break eventually.
