P1010497.JPG 142k .JPG file I would like to install my 47" Regza in a recessed area above my fireplace that measures 60 3/4" wide by 27 1/4" tall. I have read enough to believe the best case scenario would be to attach the wall mount to a vertical support stud at ~ 33" which is roughly center of the space. Unfortunately, the framing studs are located at 23", 39" and 54" as measured from left to right.

Since the mount would be articulating, could I mount the tv on the stud at either 39" or 54" and still have the tv 'sit back" into the recessed space when not in use?

Any input and advice is appreciated.
