A3000 vs LX7 @6400 iso

Yep it does, but he wanted a camera for Video mainly. The A3000 doesn't meet those requirements.

The LX7 can go past ISO 6400 btw. 12,500. But your right, the A3000 does have a bigger sensor.

The LX7 does go to 12800 iso but is unusable and the A3000 is great @ 12800 iso.

LX7 @ 12800iso
A3000 @ 12800iso

Didn't I already say that the APS-C sensor is bigger? why are you posting charts? For christs sake, I could draw the APS-C sensor in Ps CS5, and show you how much bigger it is..

It's over 4 times bigger than the 1/1.7" CMOS. I'm well aware of this.

Here.. The LX7 sensor vs APS-C. I made this chart a week or so ago in Ps CS5. These sizes are exact. It's a zoomed view, but the sizes were created with exact dimensions.

It seems I've already uploaded this.. Before. But here it is again.

Do you know how much better an APS-C sensor is in low light vs the LX7's 1/1.7" CMOS?

Almost all of his posts are like that. Seems weird to me to take this stuff so seriously. It's just cameras not life or death haha.

Anyway I'm loving my FZ200 and getting better and better at figuring it out as I play with it each day. If you need a reasonably priced camcorder alternative with good zoom good stills, external mic and constant 2.8 appature it's the camera for you.
