I just ordered a Energy RC-10 pair for my Front Left and Right channels since I saw some great reviews for them here. However, the problem I have is choosing the appropriate Center Channel for RC-10s. The nicely matching center channel RC-LCR is no longer available anywhere (except in amazon at 599$ - very expensive) and so the only options left for me are RC mini cc and RC V5.2c. Can anyone suggest me which one of these center speakers are apt for RC-10? If it is only LCR or Mini cc then I need to wait until someone sells them in ebay as they are currently not sold anywhere.
I own a Pioneer VSX-920K receiver and energy rc micro 5.1 set up but I am planning to upgrade the fronts to RC-10 and as mentioned above looking out for suitable center channel. I know eventually i will also need to upgrade my sub to a 12 inch one to match my front and center channels. My final plan will be to use 2 of my rc micro satellites as L,R surrounds and other 2 for front heights and rc micro center as a back surround (that way i won't waste any of those satellites). I use home theater to watch 80 to 90% movies and just 10% music. I am interested to know your opinions and different options. Appreciate you in advance!
