Redmere cables direction

I know that Redmere cables are unidirectional, what is not obvious (well, I think I know but want to make sure) is which end goes to which device with a DVR, BluRay player and receiver.

Mine are from monoprice and labeled "TV" at one end and Source" at the other end.

Am I right in saying this?

DVR or BluRay player to Receiver with the "TV" end at the receiver and the "source" end at the device?

Thanks,

Kevin

The signal needs to go from the SOURCE on a path to the TV.

If you have the cable going from a Blu-Ray/DVR, etc --> Receiver then you have (Blu-Ray = Source, Receiver = TV)
If the cable is used after the receiver then it would be Receiver --> TV/Projector (Receiver = Source, TV/Projector = TV)

Does that help?

Bottom line... plug it it. If it works it's correct. If you get nothing then you need to reverse the direction.

...and I might add that you won't hurt anything if you plug them in backwards.
