The response curve continues to taper off but the excursion goes way up. If you reference the excursion graph in the first post you will see what I mean. It is very evident in watching it on the sweeps as well.
In other words, one better have a strong HPF in place to protect the cone.
The good news is that the thing is so damn efficient that you don't need much power at all. In reality, I can't imagine having to apply more than 1000-1500w to it for insane in room SPL.
