Try one that's a little more polite next time. Being kind goes a long way. Not all of us are electronic guru's such as yourself. Like I said. I was able to copy settings before on my last tv and came away 100% satisfied. That's all I'm trying to do now.
One man's frankness and directness is another man's rudeness. Ignoring sound advice and persisting in erroneous behavior can also be construed as irresponsible and rude. You are caught up in the myth that copying someone else's settings gets you display performance that matches that other display. You were rudely and unkindly given bad advice in the other section of the forum, as happens more frequently in other parts of the forum. This section is about accuracy, precision, reference standards, and disciplined methods to achieve those attributes. You are being referred, guided, instructed, and encouraged to pursue swapping settings in other parts of the forum. Here we pursue reference over preference. We value fidelity over what any individual viewer may "like."Edited by GeorgeAB - 12/6/13 at 7:05pm
