Comparing Pioneer SC-1328-K to VSX-1028-K

Hi, I've been searching for a new receiver for my home theater and have come across these 2. The main reasons for choosing these are I need 2 HDMI outs.

Can someone please help me compare the 2, and for an extra $300, is it worth upgrading to the 1328.

I can get the 1028 for $499, and the 1328 for $799

I currently have a pioneer 1014, and am happy with the sound, but it has no HDMI inputs or outputs.

Thanks in advance for any comments, information.

I have the SC 1227-k, which is last year's version of the 1328, with the addition of 4K passthrough. Personally I would go with the 1328 because of the D amps. They don't generate a lot of heat, put out a lot of power and can be used with 4 ohm speakers, if you have those. I've had the Pioneer 1014 and 9120, both of which were very good, but I prefer the 1227 hands down. Hope this helps.

No problem. Here is a link to the Elite SC-61, which is almost the same as the SC-1227-k. I imagine that the 1328 internal parts should be the same.
