Hi,

I am looking for a way to use my pre out to get a pair of speakers to use as front height. I just wanted suggestions to see which type of amp could be used. I thought about using a class T amp, can it be used for that purpose?

yest it can. which T amp you looking at? I have used a Lepai LP-2020A+ in a PC audio set up and overall wasn't all that thrilled with it. It was very noisy, especially at medium and higher volume levels. If I kept the volume level fairly low it was alright, but the volume was too low for my taste.

There are other T amps that are supposed to pretty good, but cost more then the budget lepai i used.

I was looking at these two,

Class T Digital Amplifier- 50watts RMS/CH- Sound Appeal- SA-100T

Topping TP20-MK2 MKII TA2020 Class T-AMP Digital Stereo Amplifier

Would they be any good?
