HDMI 2.0 and Sony

Not sure if this is the correct place to post but here goes: I have just purchased the Sony 65" 4K TV to replace a 3 year old Samsung 3D plasma. Complete with the Sony Media player. It gets installed Thursday.

Replacing a 3 year old Samsung 63" Plasma 3D TV

TV is the XBR65X850A

Question: I have a Denon 3311CI and anticipate it will not be possible to switch the 4K signal, especially when it goes HDMI 2.0 60fps after end of year firmware upgrade

Does anyone have comments, setup suggestions or workarounds please?

I like the Denon equipment but don't want to rush until I know what my choices are

Thanks

I would be more concerned with HDCP 2.2 (which I believe will be required once true 4k material is available) than the HDMI 2.0 hardware/firmware upgrade that will be made available to some Sony models. All that firmware/hardware upgrade will do is increase the clock speed of the chipset because Sony built that in on some models anticipating HDMI 2.0. Current high speed HDMI cables will work just fine with the 2.0 spec upgrade.
