I have been ripping my blu ray collection for years and converting them to mp4 files that are more useable in the Apple ecosystem. I've tweaked my settings over the years to the point where I lose almost no perceivable quality in video after encoding. However, I was dumping the dts-hd files until Handbrake adopted the mp4 dts-hd passthrough feature about a year ago. I have accumulated a number of these files with the additional dts-hd tracks and I was wondering what the best system is to play them. I store all of my movies on a raid and have iTunes manage them so I can stream to my Apple Tv's (which don't support the dts-hd track). I saw that Mede8er might be an option, but I really would like something that integrates well with iTunes (though I could just stream the files from my raid to a device like that). What are the best options on the market for this?
