Kind sirs, I do not believe that the Crest Pro-LITE 5.0 and 7.5 have been released to the US public yet. In fact, most of the first run of these two Crest amps went to other amp companies and Peavey/Crest is functioning as the OEM supplier. N8 is correct....the Crest is beefier than the Peavey offerings...particularly relative to the capacitors. For example, the Crest 7.5 has 14,400 more microfarads of total cap storage versus the Peavey IPR2 7500. What you get in return is more holding power on low notes. Hit the two amps lightly and you probably won't notice a difference. Hit them hard with low frequencies and you will. Additionally, in a class D amp, any power supply ripple is transposed onto the PWM amplitude and wave shape. The much larger caps reduce the ripple, hence the amp is cleaner in the mids.
The main IPR2 caps are standard off-the-shelf China items. The Pro-LITE gets very high grade foil Japanese caps.
That's about the extent of the info I have right now. Someone else can chime if I am mistaken or there was something else.
