So the Moxi (3rd one) has been churning along now for about a year...left for Christmas vacation, came back and the Moxi was locked up. Tried resetting/rebooting (not a hard reset), and the Moxi seems to want to go through setup again. Only problem is when it attempts to connect to the server, I get an error message telling me to check my network. A check of the network params shows a valid IP address, gateway, and all interfaces as "active."
Where do I go from here? I see technical support is non-existent now, and I don't want to invest in another hard drive if the Moxi won't even connect to the server to download the OS.
Update: Spoke too soon about technical support...just received an email indicating they believe it's a hardware failure. $249 for a refurb unit...wow, that's up from the $150 I've paid twice now for replacement units. I'm thinking I should cut my losses here and just switch over to TiVO...?
