Here is my room setup

My equipment will be next to my couch.

Here is my current component

Panasonic TC-P65ZT60
DirecTV HR24
MacMin (hdmi output)
XBox One

Any recommendation on the best setup?

Setup 1

I was going to get an HDMI switch that has digital audio out. But I have conduit from my couch to back room. So i would need a 25ft digital audio cable to soundbar.

Setup 2

Use HDMI switch for all video and audio. Plug all components via HDMI into HDMi Switch and one hdmi out to Plasma. Use Plasma ZT60 audio out to Soundbar. But will I lose sound quality by using this method?

Any suggestions?

Most TVs are only capable of sending two channel audio out. If you want 5.1 then you'll probably have to go with an hdmi switch. Check to see what audio output your tv is capable of.

So I found out that my ZT60 will not get Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS 5.1 from an external source such as a blu ray player. So I need an HMDI switch. Any suggestions on HDMI switch?
