Plex

Hello all,

I had a question on my setup. I run a plex server and stream to my roku. I have noticed that the file formats m4v I am using is getting really poor quality streaming. I have other files on there that are blue ray rips in the same format and all. Only difference is they have the black widescreen bars on the top and bottom and they look much better and stream better. I am curious on what I am doing wrong. These files are movies downloaded from amazon unbox in hd. I then run them through drm converter to strip drm. However, my video is in hd but streams very poorly and doesn't look really good my other question is what is the best streaming service to get digital copies from. I like how amazon allows you to download your movies to your PC. Though I don't like their unbox app too much because it seams to lack options. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I will check it out. Any recommendations on a good company to download your movies from. I currently use Amazon through there unbox option. I am basically looking for a place to buy the latest movies in 1080p format, that supports me owning them on my desktop.

MGO. I have a few titles on the UV locker and it's awesome.

Great. Can you download the movies on mgo. Once you buy them? Like locally on your PC?
