Seemed the Niners reacted to that, although Boldin seems to always be that way.
You don't know Smitty. He does that on every
catch he makes, every game. It's just who he is.
But I agree that the Kitties came out a bit too hyped up. It was as though their coaches kept hammering them all week about how tough and physical they needed to be with the 49er's in order to win the game. But proper execution and the channeling of emotion into excelling at that execution is far more important. Hopefully, a lesson learned for next time. Their superb defense will assure them of one. And Cam has to improve in all facets of his game if they're ever going to go deep into the playoffs. He's still very immature in a number of areas.
