Font size when typing a message

Is there any way to increase the font size when typing a new message?

I got a new monitor some time ago & have just been putting up with the small text when typing because I never found a way to change it.

I did search this forum & the only suggestions that come up are to increase the browser text size for everything. And most people reply they do not want to do that. And neither do I because everything else on the forum looks fine. Most of the comments are a year or more older.

Is there any updated info and/or changes that let me change the font size just in the typing box?

Yeah, you can increase it while typing in the rich text editor, but if you forget to revert it before submitting, folks will quickly become annoyed.

I previously did try changing the "size", but it has no effect on what I see while I am typing. Just like now it looks like I'm typing in 8 or 10 point font size. Yet it shows up bigger after I post it. It's just difficult to see what I'm typing & the higher the resolution of the monitor the smaller the font.

Read my post above. You're still using the BB code editor. Switch to the rich text editor. And remember to revert to regular size before submitting the post so it doesn't look like that^.

I don't see an option for that. Where do I find it?

I've noticed that on a couple Huddler sites. Their developers must still use VGA monitors rolleyes.gif... CTRL+ (or CTRL-) (or CTRLScroll) works in Chrome to re-size stuff. Probably most other browsers too. Granted it re-sizes pictures and buttons too. Chrome keeps track of magnification on a site by site basis so other 'normal' sites won't get magnified.
