Hello guys,

At first I hope this section is right for my Thread. Otherwise please move it.

I am from Germany and new at this nice forum. I want to show you my new Home Theatre and gaming room which is separated from our house and has been planned and built by myself.

Unfortunately it is hard to combine photos from the lighted room and photos from the projection. Therefore i made seperate photos of both. The screen is 3 meters wide and can be masked for 21:9 content. The seats are about 3,5 meters away from the screen.

As I said the room seperated from our house. Outside you can heare nothing. Perfect for watching movies and gaming at night.

Projector: JVC DLA-X30
AVR: Yamaha RX-V3900

7.4 speaker configuration:

Front speakers: Nubert NuVero 7
Center speaker: Nubert NuVero 7
Surround speakers: Nubert NuVero 5
2 x Back Surround speakers: Nubert NuVero 5
Subwoofers: 4 x Nubert AW-1100

(Nubert is a german brand. They only sell direct. Link to speakers: http://www.nubert.de/nuvero-serie/19/)

BR-Player: Panasonic DMP-BDT 500
Satellite receiver: Technisat Technibox S1
Consoles: Xbox 360, PS3, WiiU (nextgen consoles comig later)
Gbit Network + wireless LAN
No windows
Air installation for fresh air
RGB light and room light wireless dimmable

Hope you like it smile.gif. I have many pics from the construction process. I will upload them sometime later. From the tech room as well which is not yet finished.

Because I made so many photos it takes too long to upload them all again. Therefore I have a link for you where you can see all photos from the construction. It's from a German forum:

If you have questions please ask me anything you want.

Thank you very much! It sounds even better than it looks. I love that speakers! At the moment I'm watching Breaking Bad every evening after work. The sound mix is as good as the series itself. So damn realistic!

Good luck with it... enjoy!

Wow this room looks really clean! I like it! Are those speakers on wall? They seem very slim

The, those are on Wall speakers in the back. The Nubert NuVero 5. They are configurable threw three switches (free standing or on wall, mid, high). They look sleek but they sound big. http://www.nubert.de/nuvero-5/p577/?category=72

Beautiful home theater.

Definitely gave me some ideas for when I start mine.

Enjoy it.

Like your room a lot. I like its sleekness and simplicity. I like your metal door in back reminds me of my door in my room, except your door looks like its all metal inside and out, mine is only on the inside of the door. I like your chairs simple in design and I'm sure very comfortable. Also I like your cove lighting in which you can change the color of your light, to create a different mood in your room. And your projection room, keeping your room quiet during a quiet passage scene and keeping the room clean in design. I have a question the black panels on your wall are they diffuser panels? Also the panels above your speakers are they refractals or are they some sort of bass trap?.

Thanks very much :) The black ones on the wall are selfmade acoustic absorbers to reduce the reverberation time. The ones above the back speakers are diffuser panels. I don't know the word refactal. Is it another word for absorber?

The projection room is not yet finished in detail. I will update the photos when the room is finished.

I don't know if that was the correct spelling of the word. The device is used for reflecting the sound back into the room, it's usually built into the wall studs with fabric covering them, the fabric would be the same color as your room so it would blend into your room seamlessly. Your diffuser panels work the same way, a custom installer did my room he told me that refractals are supposed to be more accurate than diffuser panels, but he also said that not everyone can install them in there room they tend to be on the large size. I don't have them in my room I didn't have enough room to accommodate them. Your self made absorber panels look like my diffuser panels. You are so talented it truly is a gift, I wish that I had your abilities, again great looking room.

Again thank you very much!! It was hard work for a long time and my abilities have grown during that time. I think everyone can do that with patience.

Yes, I know that as diffuser. Same word in German. They reflect the sound in different directions to avoid flutter echos and to make it sound more naturally.
