Best screen with some pop for my HC3800?

I'm looking for about a 110" screen for no more than $1500. The lower the price the better. I use to have white walls, but painted all the walls a light grey. I now miss the pop I had with the white wall, but do enjoy the increase contrast since the light control isn't not the best in my living room. I'm thinking of going with a tension pull down or motorized tensioned screen with a white fabric so I can get some of the pop back but still have the option of using the wall in the daytime for better contrast.

Any suggestions? I think a fixed screen like a black diamond might be the best for me, but it's way out of my range. frown.gif

Draper Contrast Radiant a good option too?

Sounds as if you have a similar lighting situation to mine.  After much research, I've decided to go with Draper Contrast Radiant as the least expensive quality option for the combination of pop and ambient light rejection to preserve as much black as possible.  It's been well documented in this forum that you need to be able to live with the narrow viewing cone and have your projector mounted close to eye level to get the full benefits of a retroreflective gray screen like Contrast Radiant (and, before it was discontinued, Da-Lite High Contrast High Power).  Hopefully someone will share their personal experience with you here.

I'm actually thinking of a monoprice masking screen now since I have a 50" LED in the same room for when it's light out... :/
