I'll keep this thread updated with pictures of the entire process.
I've read a ton of posts and this seems like the best time to be building a couple subs! I'm finally moving into a house we built and my old faithful MFW-15 won't fit in my built-in cabinet.
And of course I need more bass! The new room is 32'x30'x9'.
My cabinet depth is only 17" deep but plenty wide to get a 4.35 cu ft sealed box in it. In the picture below, they would go on each side of the mains.
I put in two dedicated 20a circuits, but could add more as needed.
1x Behringer NU6000DSP iNUKE 6000W (change the fans out with these).
2x Dayton Audio UM18-22 18" Ultimax subwoofer
Based on my built in theater built-in cabinets, I'm looking at the subwoofer cabinets being 26"W x 24"H x 15"D = 4.35 cu ft.
My questions if you have advice:
-Does this make sense?
-How does the wiring work with the DVC and ohms back to the amp?
-Do I have everything I need on the parts express cart? I already have 14 gauge speaker wire.
-Do I need the CLEANBoxPro?
Also- I don't have the woodworking tools to build the cabinet- any ideas on where to I could get the custom cabinet?
