Hello everyone. I'm new to this site, and as I stated in the "New Member Introductions" section, I'm looking to put together a "respectable" loft. Girlfriend of 10 years is slowly taking over the 70" downstairs. Which could be a blessing in disguise.
I should first start by stating my loft is only 16'x14'. Only the right side is open, being as it has a balcony that spans the whole wall. I'm also an upgrade fanatic. I recently purchased a Samsung 55" 3D-LED 7500 Series T.V. and I'm already looking for reasons to replace it. But my main task at hand is my audio system. A world I'm completely clueless in. Which is why I came to you fine people.
My first instinct is to buy a Samsung HTIB system. Only I have spent hours upon hours reading reviews online. Most people with a Samsung HTIB say it is great. Some people say don't waste your money. Some people even say if you have a Samsung T.V. and buy a system that doesn't come from Samsung, you might experience some sort of lag or dead space in your audio/video on occasion. In short, after reading all these reviews I find myself even more clueless than I was before my research. Even trying to navigate through this forum I can't seem to find my exact predicament.
If anyone is willing to help me out, some points of interest to keep in mind would be my loft size (16'x14'), my infatuation with upgrades and the T.V. I'm currently using. I'm not as focused on budget as I am with practicality. I saw some speakers for $2,000,000 today lol. Not very practical for my loft. But if it helps at all, let's start with a reasonable $1,000 budget that can also be very flexible. Remember, upgrades.
Thank you guys.
