Alright, brought the cabs upstairs where it is warmer, and figure I'd mount the drives and do a quick test of my wiring... Had a few issues, first the T nuts (well, just one) didn't stick into the MDF and instead pushed out. Of course this wasnt the first bolt either... Took some time for me to pull the driver and get it it to stick sufficiently enough that I could start the rest.. Then I ended up stripping a bolt, and for some reason on of my packages only had 3 bolts.. so one driver is currently two bolts short.. But the really bad news? Channel B on the amp is NOT 1+ and 1-
So, both subs appear
to be working and wired fine for channel A. but now I've got to figure out what to do for the channel B. So, whats the best way to do this? I want the subs to be channel swappable if possible, but is that possible?
My first thought is to short the 1+ and 2+ on each sub (on the internal connector of the sub) that way I only need the 1 wire internal to hook up. However, I sealed and screwed the little connector to the box - not happy!
Will turn the volume up tomorrow after the glue for the top has a chance to dry. Thinking just shy of 24 hours should be enough to turn em up?
